Challenge

Although the launch was imminent, Bucher’s brand-new CityCat sweeper range was still in product development and as such, we were tasked with creating launch collateral using only prototypes as available models.

Strategy

Undeterred by the challenge, our approach was to build highly photo-realistic CGI renders of the CityCat range, compositing each machine into a variety of cityscapes and urban scenes from across the globe.

Creative

Every texture was created in 3D and cross-checked against a sample part. For systems not yet fully complete, we modelled each part from engineering CAD models and composited them into the sweeper. Several scenes from different geographies were selected to promote truly international settings, with a final retouch of the sweepers in situ to demonstrate motion and movement.
