From the humble beginnings as a Cheshire grocery store, Roberts Bakery has grown over time to become a company that delivers freshly baked goods to customers right across the North of England, North Wales and the Midlands. Roberts Bakery produces over 3.5 million loaves of high-quality bread every week.
Challenged to increase sales and engage with customers over Christmas, we developed a campaign based around the ‘The Roberts Festive Sandwich’ which focused on using Christmas leftovers to create a range of delicious seasonal sandwiches. 11 ‘taste of Christmas’ recipes were promoted, all naturally with Roberts bread as the main ingredient. And to truly engage the audience, consumers were invited to upload their favourite recipe for the twelfth, with everyone who entered the competition in with the chance of winning a luxury hamper. Not only was the campaign a success, but in-line with Roberts’ desire to grow the brand outside of their Cheshire base, it also won the hearts of new followers in Staffordshire, Derbyshire and throughout the Midlands.
